So who's hitting the high seas tomorrow. My first crack since Xmas as I've been away. I'm sure my spots are swimming with beasts

Yes mate
I am looking at heading out of Two Rocks. What was your thoughts of Thunderstorm in the arvo?
I think it should be ok sounds like it is more inland.
Swell looks good and winds ok.

3 mile
3 mile bash at sunrise tomorrow then see what the wind's doing. I want to find some ground in the 30's and hopefully get stuck into some dhuies (or at least sambo) jigging.
Also cautious of the thunderstorm threat.

That actually sounds like good plan if I end up going solo, especially considering a mackie launched itself into the air 20m from the boat about 2 mile off shore on Tuesday

Matilda Bay last night was dead quiet. A lot of boats around but not much being caught..
After 5 hours of fishing, only managed 6 tailor between the four of us.

Went out from Two Rocks on
Went out from Two Rocks on Saturday and had a similar catch to tot.
We fished around the bank and got a couple of baldies, a couple of BA, an undersized dhu and a swallowtail.
It was flat as without any wind so we tried heading out deeper. Found a spot in 200m and had a drop with no results. Before we could reset for a second try we were surrounded by a school of tuna so we got the lures out and caught 9 stripey tuna. It was non-stop action.
We then came back in WOT all the way home.
I talked to a friend who went out from Ocean Reef to the 3 mile reef and he said it was really choppy in the morning. He didn't believe me when I said it was a complete glass off out deep.

Got 3km outa Ocean Reef and sucked in a mulie bag setting the overheat alarm off. Switched off and set up for whiting and the wind kicked up and very dark clouds starting rolling in with a 1.7m swell so came back in.
