heres the crew happy a the proverbial pig in it with the champion tagg and release skippers trophy for gamex 2011...finished celabrating at 4.30am
bottom pic is the crew from the AIBT comp ....one more fish and we would of made the podium winning boat got 7 fish we finished with 6 ouch,,,,,,GO "PILBRA"PIRATES AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH

We had both bases
covered , Mitch was all over the Bait rigging and I had the lure rigging singing , we've had a very successfull couple of weeks on lures , something in the order of 21 fish raised , 19 hooked 17 tagged or there abouts , the downrigger with a big sea gar
also got us a nice fish when the surface action was well and truly shut down , we swam mullet and queenies as well but the lures kept coming up with the goods . Sharpening those hooks everytime a lure gets dropped in the water and attention to detail pays off .
Just one more cast , honest !!!

of fish raised, hooked and tagged. Sounds like you guys had it sussed. Well done.

Out of curiosity what hooks were you using & also were you using doubles or singles for such a good hookup ratio?

big sharp hooks .mustards ,,jobu's ,,some unknowns,,,, but all saw the hook hone on every drop ,,,had a 500lb clip swivel ring open up ,,, SPOTTED,,changed out,,,these are the things ,,the 1%%% that made the differecne..winners are grinners and if it wasnt for these 1%%%%,,,,, no way ide be writting this advice...you spend big bucks to land the big fish of a lifetime attention to detail pays in spades AAAARRRRGGGHHHH
