Hi All,
Was just wondering if anybody has success chasing whiting in the southwest in winter.Dont have trouble locating them in summer and love chasing them on the surface lures but I need a winter fix and im finding it hard to find them... Any ideas ?

Well
there are always heaps of Fat Sandies in 25-30m out from Eagle Bay and for the next couple of months is the best time for King George in the bay.
Often the best Kg fishing is in the sand holes amongst the weed patches between Quindalup and Busselton.
Yellowfin are generally harder to find in winter.
Hope that helps.

Still get a few round eagle
Still get a few round eagle bay this time of year, switch to vibes or sinkin stickbaits and fish the sand/rock edges normally a winner for me. Kill it with the flathead to, mainly babies though.
Fisherman, constantly trying to out-smart fish.......with limited success
