if you are going to the jetty they is heaps of rays at the moment picked up 1 yesterday still heaps of scalies and wen i got there about 8 sum guy pulled in a monster skippy on flies looked 3-4kg

You are right. I was in Woodman point early sat morning. Caught a few undersized skippy and had a good 15mins fight with a stingray with my 2.00meter UglyStik gold!!! It was fun!! Thanks for the info!

I saw a school of fish but cant tell what it is as it's about 5am in the morning, besides, i think the water is slightly affected by the dredging in North mole but i may be wrong.

So, i am not sure whether the bulk scalies are there when i was there in the morning.

When are u thinking of going?

the wind maybe strong tomorrow though and the direction is mostly south/south east depending on what time u are going so be prepared for that. Let me know what are there and what u caught ya after your trip!!! Hope u get good size skippy and tailor and some bait fish!:D

Just going for sharks and rays ahha. Tailor and skippy will be bait if I get them :P

I always prefer to head out at night, but I've seen a lot of sharks and rays as well as mackies hauled there during the day.

oh theres only about 10 tonnes of scalies swimming round the jetty at night and some good sized tailor when the winds up, the odd blacktip cruising about, not too mention a 9ft bronzie that a bloke called daniel got last week had too beach it.

yeh saw djackovichs. was pretty big. might try marina tomorrow night

Wondering is that place safe as i have heard lots of comment on car safety. In fact, in 1997, our car got bombarded with fish and the window of a car next to us was smashed...

I think that's ammo dump your referring to about the cars. Marina has only been around for a year or so. I've heard some people park there car right near the jetty, and security doesn't seem to car.

I just made a few shark rigs. So hopefully there are some around tonight :P haha

Agree with John, the wind direction and speed is pretty good on Monday and Tuesday evening and night. IMO, i think woodman point is producing some bread and butter fish and also other bigger size fish like tailor and skippy and some odd mulloway...However, no harm driving to North Mole to check it out.
