Yardi Creek
Submitted by trepangdua on Sat, 2021-05-01 08:18
Hi all.
Heading to Exmouth next week. Is it worth heading over to Yardi Creek with my 18 foot Quinny for a family cruise?
Can you fish in the creek? Is it worth running a small lure?
Thanks in advance

No fishing or swimming in Yardie creek
There's definitely no fishing in yardie creek. Boxy does a great tour in his boat which is worth doing, bitumen road all the way as well. You aren't even allowed to swim in there anymore, which is strange as we used to jump off the cliffs into the water years ago, that was back when it was a dirt road from the lighthouse though:).

Ha ha , my old man was a Commonwealth then Federal copper ,back in the late 70's he'd do two week stints up there on the yank base and always bring back a huge box of Exmouth king prawns.
