Yellowfin at Gemini wreck
Submitted by NORUN NOFUN on Tue, 2015-11-17 13:07
Just thought I would let the pelagic guys on here know that I had yellowfin tuna free jumping at the Gemini wreck yesterday.
They looked to be around the 7 - 10kg models and bloody fat.
Did a quick troll with skirts but no luck and will definitely try next time I am out.

I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

Gemini holds some great fish.
Gemini holds some great fish. Biggest SBT I have seen was caught there.

Sorry no water temp
First bust up was about 1030, the next was 1100, not sure if these times coincide with anything though - tide, moon etc
We were targeting a few sambo's, but they were quiet and then switched to slow tolling squid which raised the action.
It's quite a site to see tuna free jumping, time seems to stop as you watch in awe.
