If you google "Fish weight by length" the 1st result should be a link to DPI NSW that will give you approximate weights for length of a number of species. Obviously it's only approximate & varies according to condition of the fish but it will give you a rough idea of the ball park your batting in.

didnt weigh him but the orange ruler goes up to 800mm so pre nice fish any ideas about hes weight?
