About 1/2 hour mate!

Fri, 2010-02-05 12:44

With the correct pressure on a ray that size , it took me 1/2 hour and it was on the beach. Good fun!

ray

Is that a black(dasyatis thetidis) or a smooth ray(dayatis brevicaudata) , battling a bit with the angle of your pic - leaning towards the smooth ray tho.     U did very well to land a "120kg" fish in half an hour , u must of thumbed the spool big time using the gw50 - top fish , well done !

 half an hour seems pretty

Fri, 2013-08-16 16:39

half an hour seems pretty much right to me ive caught 50kg models and they give up in about 10 or so minutes on 30 lb

would like to see how long you could run towin 8 or so kg behind you
