19/1/14 fads

We hit the fads on the 19th, we ended up with 8 dollies between 4 divers one skipper. all dollies were 6-9.5kg. I shot 3 at around 7kg of the one fad and let about 4-5 other bulls up to 11kg swim off as i was hunting wahoo for the other fads. heaps around but they wouldnt take anything on line, semi-live scalies, mulies, squid, skirts, wax wings, or soft plastics. no wahoo around that day

What size boat? I am
What size boat? I am thinking of doing an overnighter at rotto before heading out early on a weekend when the forecast is favourable. My boat is 5m plate ali and would be in company with anothe 6m boat.
Would love to get onto some mahi mahi like those!

pick your days right and no problem, its a long way off, we go out from with fibre glass hulls from 16-26 foot and have gone on a 5.5m quintrex too
