Fishing with SPs is no different from bait fishing except you are working the plastic instead of just keeping the bait on the bottom.
The only way you are going to know where the fish are is to be down there. Most of the guys I fish with bait fish and when they drop down so do I. I catch the same amount and variety of fish as they do.
If you have the right gear you can easily twitch a SP all day.

The 7in mcarthy pink softy
The 7in mcarthy pink softy did the trick but i have had some luck on the pearl colour and chartreuse but pink is my favorite!

Precisely. You gotta know precisely where the fish are so you can drop a lure straight on top of them - otherwise its alot of uneconomical effort.
