Just thought i would share a fav pic of the abrolhos from early September last year. As it is cold and wet at the moment might get everyone keen for the coming spring weather.
We had a whole weekend of glass off conditions-Magic!

Did you have permision to tie up. Or was there no one around .I have been told they don't like people using there jetty's.and you need writen permision or you can be fined

We were with a bloke that Deckies for the Robertson family so were allowed to tie up. Not too sure of the protocol otherwise- I'm pretty sure if you do the right thing everything should be sweet- We didn't camp in the shack, just slept in swags on the jetty- The crabs tend to get a bit friendly in your swag though!

Mate you can't really plan a date, just be available for a window of say a few weekends- if the weather is good you go, if it isn't there is no point. We will start watching the weather early September again and see what transpires.

Its called newman island and looks like your tied up to Phils jetty
he can get pretty moody too when ya park on his jetty too hahaha
there was a dead whale in the lagoon there last year and there where monster tigers everywhere

Nah mate not Newman Is- that is very close though (pink shack on it heh). We were on the little island just SW of Newman( approx 28 52 306 - 114 00 091 that has 2 shacks on it and we had permission so didn't matter.
Wouldn't like to try finding the channel to get in there at night time heh!

What sort of weather patterns
What sort of weather patterns are you looking for . I like the sound of that as i'm self employed and i can only go when the work is quite for me .I don't really have the legacy of booking trips in advance .
