Are you having another Coipassa classic this year , was looking thru an old FWA mag and saw your story, bet you put the baldies on the list this time :) :)
We were scheduled to run it last weekend but the weather was all wrong.
This year the guys from Joondalup Compleat Angler have got behind us again with sponsorship and joining them we have a number of others this year. Joondalup Retravision, Oscars Restaurant Currambine, Perth Esky Hire, Bob Slight's Boating School, Garden Glow Joondalup, and our major prize of a $995 aquarium setup complete with fish has been donated by Unique Aquariums. Their aquariums have got to be seen to be believed. Works of art. They are the thin wall hanging aquariums you see in restaurants and corporate boardrooms.
Overall we have over $2000 worth of prizes so the guys are pretty pumped to win a category.
We have 10 boats entered this year so the afterparty promises to be a big one. Just dreading the cleanup the next morning.
Everyone is under strict instructions to take heaps of pics so we will post a few up of course.
I have also convinced Ian Keay from fisheries to come down and dissect all the dhuies caught on the day and remove the otoliths on camera so I can share that with everyone on the site. Should be very interesting.
Hopefully the weather gods will smile on us this time and we will have a good day on the water.
Baldies, Harlequin and Red Snapper are all on the species list this year unlike my error last year (Doh!) The points spread is weighted away from dhufish too so a couple of just size dhuies won;t win the comp this year. The champion angler will have to catch lots of different species to have a chance unless they catch a couple of trophy size fish that score maximum points. Points are basically the same as with the Fishwreked comp we did late last year.

Maybe talk to Adam about a Fishwrecked sticker for the back of the bait board.

Got the Fishwrecked sticker now
One holographic one on the back of the baitboard and one big silver one on the side of the hull.
Looks good Adam, I'll take a pic of it next time I get her on the water.
Cheers
