Caught this one just inside burmese waters asked the guide and all he said was purple fish
Over all I caught dogtooth, yellowfinn, barracuda, wahoo, tigershark, lepard shark,gt's,snapper, tiny coral trount, one small sailfish, mudcrab, got chased by a wild pig on one island chased by a angry one eyed elephant on another got to see some amazing scenery, didnt catch as many fish as I wanted but the other guys were mainly interested in scuba diving but after seeing a 16-18 foot mako jump out of the water near a tuna school there was no way I was diveing.brother in law also made a hasty boarding of the boat after seeing a very large bull shark in the water 10 foot below him never seen someone get on board a boat so fast with full scuba gear on

Triggerfish
I'd say Redtooth Triggerfish, but can't be 100% sure. One thing I'm sure of is that I bet the flesh was blood red and as tough as if you ate it! Saw some silly buggers bring a big one in at Gnaraloo this year, waste of time.

Possibly a Redtooth
Andrew, I agree with Adam - a triggerfish - at this stage, I'll put my money on a Redtooth Triggerfish by the tail and 'chin' area, as well as the overall colouring.
