this is part of the catch of mullet w got this arvo. There were some thumpas around and some bigger ones u couldnt get! this is our version of salmon fishing up here.

mainly mullaway bait but might keep a couple just for trolling. a makk could make a nice mess of one behind the boat!

The Haul
Hey, that's the shot mate, I converted a 30cm mullet into a 52 pound mulloway a few years back - The mulloway now hangs proud on my garage wall with the original rig still in it's mouth.
I've eaten Mullet before, they have a strong "fishy" taste due to a lot of mercury in their gut cavity, but OK fresh if you’re a fish lover
