Did you get that one jigging or on bait? Looks like it would have given you a bit of a hard time, nice fish!

Live bait mate....this was the biggest king of the session. Picked up about 20 in total, quite a few on jigs...15kg tackle...great fun. We were using tiny circle hooks..worked really well, with no gut hooked fish at all. Coral sea carnage

I got a couple of nice AJ's a couple of months ago and they went 16 kg each but the pics looked like they were bigger .
OHHH well Sambo season is only 8 weeks away .
