Can't say I've seen one this big before.
Not a catch of mine unfortunately, I pinched the pic from a Qld forum I've been spending time on recently.

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Hard to tell with the FWA
Hard to tell with the FWA straight-elbows style, but a huge fish in any case.

Turtle Bay
I have also caught one this size while drifting a bait over a reef east of Turtle Bay at Dirk Hartog. I was in approx 10m of water and using a TLD 25 on a 15kg rod. The bone went like a train. Unfortunately I was on a friends charter boat and his (dipshit) deckie gaffed the fish, dehooked it and threw it back before I could say anything, let alone take a photo. I would have loved to a) release it, not kill it and b) have the photo to prove the capture....
