the new tub went tops mate, coupleof little issues that i will sort out with andrew soon, apart from that i went pretty concervative on the weight may have gone a bit more, but was a top fish on 15kg thats for sure.
as for the new name still undecided might have to get off my butt and sort it out soon

from the lower jaw to the fork of the tail would be estimated at 150.If yours was a bit fuller in the stomach it would have gone close to 140 ish well done.Give me a pm with your probs and i will let you know if i have the same things.
thanks guys, i think this fish blew huggy b's mind away when we hooked it, and he done a great job driving the boat around on this fish, a huge learning curve for him and a credit to him helping land the fish

my pink/white soft oscar has been cleaning up for me lately, however I've usually had a lumo Pazula in the spread which has had it's fair share of hits, usually on a long corner or shotgun. I should get a lumo soft oscar and tow at the same time to compare.
Dont give up on the blue brekky mate, that will be the one that gets triple figures for your boat, gauranteed. ;) Nice fish Matt, but dont think that breaks the 100's, after seeing the 114kg fish weighed at gamex, thats still got a little bit to go.
blue brekky is still drying out from a very long swim yesterday, and it did raise me the sail even though the fish ate the pink in the end. I've got 2 more new ones to try, one is a black/ orange skirt and looks hot. I'm practising stitching up some baits today for your return, bring on triple figures.
yeah ive got a fair few fish around this size before adam thats why i called it for 90-95, dont think it was going to crack the 100, however it was a fairly healthy fish for sure.
and another note, strangly this year we raised practically nothing on the richter 502/506 black, the one we raised all our fish on last year. Not sure why

I started off getting fish on the 502/506 in Zulu and Soft Oscar but it's lost some of it's charm lately. Mind you it's not going to catch fish sitting in the boat either. Might be time to run it again.
My spread now is usually soft oscar 46/46 (pink/ white), blue breakfast (12" blue and silver) and a 3rd spot (shotgun) is changed between lumo Zulu or soft grassy, pink soft grassy, or a Oscar Jnr 605/922 (fire colours).
Interesting you mention that Matt, Tim and I were discussing the change in colours for this year and the movement away from the black. Mind you, Tim's hooked a few fish on the black this year and I think taking it out of the spread is still too risky as it does go off from time to time. Certainly seems to be the year of the pink and white grassy or oscar.
yeah i always kept 1 black one in the spread, i think its one colour you always need, was running 2 pinks at the start which then turned to one pink 2 lumos and a black towards the end of the trip

Not sure on others thoughts on this but it must have been near the upper size limit of safely bringing into the boat from a crew perspective as well as the fishes wellbeing.
Having been caught on 15kg, did you have to swim him for long to revive him?
