Try leaving prawns or crabs in the sun until they start to go off and smell a bit and then use
them for bluebone. This works a treat. After being told this by a norwester mate when we lived in Exmouth the catch of bluebone and coral trout increased greatly. I think the smelly juice is the attractant/ burley like effect.

That is a cracking fish mate. I tried so hard to score one when i was up in shark bay but only got babies.
Fine feed there.
Sometimes when the water is quiet, you can hear the fish laughing at you !
