on boat in tornado

Was on the boat when the tornado hit Rockingham, lucky it was on the mooring, I now have a very clean boat.

I had decided to head in and was about 10 - 15 metres from the MBFC boat ramp when it hit.

No warning, went from almost nothing to full on wind and rain in an instant.

Managed to get a rope over a bollard on the ramp and hung on until the wind dropped, Mrs and myself both drenched, and that was UNDER a hardtop.

Have never experienced anything so fierce yet so short, it was all over in 5 minutes !
