BBq's and shelters (2 off)
BBQ's and shelters (2 off) are to the left of the toilets.
A new shelter has also been built recently.

Best to park in the lower car park (near loos), as more room and closer to BBQ area.
Cheers Pete
ps good luck to all...I'll be packing for Exy

Yeah where you have the X,
Yeah
where you have the X, there is a carpark just to the right of that mark... as you can see...
I usually park at that carpark and walk the banks, catching fish all along there however, the bbq area is those big black spots on the pic, big undercover areas... they look like bushes to the untrained eye but theyre big gazebo's... just beneath the X
between the BBQ gazebos and the X is another round bit, thats the play equipment
I suggest the best fishing is along the bank above the X and just below the X as far as in line with the gazebos.

you're pretty close andy,
you're pretty close andy, maybe just gone past the BBQs a tiny bit. the playground is in the middle of the top carpark and where the X is now
just a note of caution that the area marked is quite a long stretch so we might all have to take photos of our catches as we'll be well spread out
Here fishy fishy....

Hows that!
Better for the weighing/measurement, and as SPESS mentioned there could be a photo verification type judging to get the prizes. (That way I don;t have to get up at 5-30am to be available to weigh every fish)
Given the numbers so far it would be far better to do the self verification of size with a fisheries sticker underneath each fish and a photo before release. If we had another 20 or so anglers I would say do the full on weigh-in on official scales during the day, but as it is we should be better off with the C&R photo method.
I will post up a list of prizes shortly.

yeah, andy, move the X up to
yeah, andy, move the X up to paralell with the blue dot thats on heirrson island - in line with that is the playground equipment.. the bbq's are a smidge to underneath the playground eq, the best fishing is in line with the bbq's all the way up to in line with the helicopter pad (jangles fav spot)
the heli pad is paralell with the 'E' on your writing and also with the casino itself...
So between there and down towards the bbq's its all pretty open as you can see. The grass slopes down to the bank of the river and given it will be high tide, part of it will be flooded so you wont have people in the bushes hiding.. (unless they have like wellington boots or something)
