Off the cape!!!
well after some talk and banter we got out today and had a ball,
got me crew of young mr matty miller, nizzy my reg deckie and good mate and my new virgin xtreme cooler box!!,
awesome conditions and good company, we headed out deep to matty,s now favorite dhuie spot, and brendan and laim were aleady there, pulled up and had a quick look, sean anchor out and within 5 mins we had hooked 3 dhuies, (mine released)
with the conditions getting better and better we decided to head out deeper, and hit a lump in the 170,s, there we found some cracker nannies, and I got a triple header, and both matt and mark hooked up instantly also, filling our quota,
with cod in mind i wanter to check out the deep stuff, so we headed out and hit some ground in the 250,s and 350,s but no luck, did find some ground out there though for next time,
all in all great day, and some quality fresh iced fish , 
, good to meet liam finally also,
i will get the cod 1 day.. out there,

we filled it and yes mate it is awesome, think micky wants one off ya,
the 150L held 2 nice dhuies and 4 big nannies, and a heap of ice, fits on the boat nicely , cheers sir and did you rate the hapuka fillets mate,glad u enjoyed bud, looking forward to getting you out,

at first i was thinking maybe I should of gone the longer 210l for the length , but the dhuies had plenty of room, would fit a monster in there no worries, will plan a trip for ya mate, we,ll pick the weather,
makes a good sturdy 3rd seat as well, be in touch soon mate,

Great day out mate
my day was made within 10 mins getting that Dhuie on pe2 and on a SP (till-Pearl McArthy 6in paddletail). Those Nannys on jigs just topped it off. Not to mention you triple banger Harro. Talk about 'farming' a lump, hehe.

Yep that Nanny limit is just bullshit for here, considering the km's to get em. Personally I think the Dhu limit is fuct, 1 per angler with a boat limit of 4 would be easier to swallow

I reckon expand the high risk limit to 4 inc. 1 Dhuie, boat limit of Dhu back up to 4.
The West Coast regs are completely rediculous when you look at the South Coast regs
