Casualties of today's war

Casualties of today's war

There's not much that annoys me more than toothy critters taking my tasty looking pushers.  Eating my soft grassy so it doesn't swim any more really gets me!!

45m BJ

Went to 45 and was about to pull them out, then a nice 10kg spaniard hit the spread, jumped about 20ft across with the junior lumo splash in its mouth like a dog with a bone then spat it out.  The soft grassy went on Friday on the 100m line to a suspected wahoo.  Not sure when the black one went over the weekend, but still another loss. :(

only wire

I only use wire on my larger lures as I really dont wan't to loose them, these are more sacrifical lures, but it still hurts all the same when they get snipped.

But not as experienced with pushers as others. For light lines and pushers, Mono or Flouro leader with knots, heavier pushers and heavier leader crips, but I would still prefer Mono rather than single strand wire. It spooks quality fish, and lets put it this way, pushers are for Tuna and billies, but that does not stop the razor gang from "dropping the skirts" on the nice Richter etc
