Catch and Release Spangled Emperor

My lovely wifes first spangled emperor she has caught, unfortunately it was just under legal so she didn't get to taste her catch, although we had more than enough for a decent feed for the day anyway.

I'm with Jay, I'd say blue lined as well, judging by the fright colours. Still a great looking fish thou!

We ended up with 4 emperor's
We ended up with 4 emperor's ranging from 46-55cm and 4 cod's. Plus we got a couple of Mack Tuna's for bait.

I've just managed to get her
I've just managed to get her to bait her own hooks, next I'll start working on her to clean and fillet them while I sit back with a cold one.
