Caught this one today out in the 90's looked like a bloody carp quite a coulourful fish was returned to hassel another angler

Goatfish, I think these are
Goatfish, I think these are the red mullet refered to in a lot of med recipe books. Not bad to eat, but they don't tend to get real big either.

A 40cm goat fish is a horse.
Don't see many bigger than that.
