We don't see many cobbler reports on here (or elsewhere for that matter) but after seeing what soupster just wrote, that's probably why!
I did see a nice cobbler this morning at Mandurah Quays, leisurely swimming past as I was flicking bibbed minnows for tailor/salmon trout...which never showed up
you can eat in my opinion - when i was a kid my mum brought home Cobbler and chips from the Norwood fish supply in Lord St Highgate - and we lived up in the Darling Ranges so it was a bit steam cooked but cooked by Johnny the Greek it was still great.
yeah m8 no ban down here in good old manduarah. saw prob 50 odd small cobler, left them alon and went for the big ones =)praws were just on the flats dab netting,(ban on drag netting in mandurah)

Cobbler ban
Hey Fishyink,
A heads up. If you were in the Swan River and got these just be aware that there is currently a 10 year ban on fishing for cobbler in the Swan.
Three days without it and I get a little jumpy
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.

Norwood would by my
Norwood would by my territory if it still existed, I'm just off the conrner of lincoln and lord sts.
I used to get them in a fish trap in the river when I was a kid, in a kayak.
