Luckily he is a good mate, or I might have told everyone how someone slept in on Saturday morning and how he had to come running out onto the street in his pyjama pants because his wife thought his on-time fishing buddy might have been a burglar (Lol).
That was embarrassing when his little old dog trotted past me while I was almost falling back down the hill.
I wish my stumpy little legs would grow a bit more, but I think it is too late for that.
yer that was me that appeared up the beach from around the corner - got some good bites casting straight off flat rocks itsself into the deep water but the swel was a bit dodgy standin to close
i ussually fish were the reef joins the beach at night - had a big hook up on a big polished metal slice at the lagoon a bit further up might have been a sambo dunno busted me off in the reef - going back a few years
I have seen a seal of similar description hanging around in the water for a couple of weeks. Last I saw was 500 meters to a kilometer south at the "other hole". The picture seems to indicate that "Wollie" shall we call him, is a bit stuffed. I really hope it's OK. Not so sure I could sleep with a head full of sand and a sea bashing over me.
REALLY MADE ME THINK ABOUT HOW SEALS LIVE - JUST SWIMMIN AROUND FOR KILOMETRES EATING FISH - I WONDER WHERE THIS PARTICULAR SEAL ORIGINATED FROM - MAYBE LITTLE ISLAND OR FURTHER SOUTH

Local Seal?
