Yeah, i use the rod to pump the fish up and then electric function to wind down - even that got me fairly stuffed and i'm no couch potato! I'll give the manual wind a go next time for you Soupster...
Got a 320lb blue on stand up with out a harness (the boat didnt have one!) last year so have def done my time in the fishing hard labor department...!
