funny thing you said that andy last time we were out here they were really silver and it on coral ground to,today all five of them come up real dark that would'n have anything to do with coral spawning will it?
I've noticed two distinct colourations in fish taken from certain lumps. I don;t dive them so I am not sure what they are, limestone, reef or rock, though I have heard that the silver dhuies are taken on limestone lumps and the darker ones near rock. Simple answer is I am not sure.
Maybe Ryan can answer that one, I remember him saying something about it when it came up in another thread years ago.

bloody helll with a catch like that mate you dont need to go out much.
im in gamex this year, already payed up .will be deckie on a 38 foot boat .its all set for game fishing, and the skipper is a gun game fisher .to say im excited is an under statement.i will be picking his brains big time on the how when and what to do. 1 month to go.so come july at coralbay imight have a bit more of a crack for a beakie .hopefully ill know a bit more on how to go about it

a good bloke called wayne . his boat is called "C,worthy".he now lives in TP .prettysure he got top boat last year in perth game fishing club.or maybee top angler. he knows his shit
