Dhutastic
Got these beauties last Sunday on a day trip out from Dawesville. There was a weather window of calmer conditions but still 50% chance of rain. Headed out early morning in the dark out to the 50s.Had to take it slow as pitch black. I started fishing while still dark but for me it was slow going. Hooked an undersize Snapper just after daylight with a 3m Tiger Shark chasing it up and hitting the side of the boat as I swung the Snapper aboard. I released it opposite side hoping it made it.After that it was very slow but a few rubbish fish Rays and Port Jackson's even a big Northwest Blowie. The day wore on into the afternoon and after a few moves eventually a better hook up and fight and the 1st real fish came aboard.Yehar a ripper Dhufish at last. I tried for another hour and bang on again and knew straight away another beauty was on. After a surprisingly good fight I got it up and was over the moon.
