Those claws look like they can do some serious damage.... wish i lived up that way.. i once pulled a big muddie out of moore river whilst fishing for bream, at first i thought it was a small tree branch until it started moving... couldnt believe what my eyes were seeing!
Thats one corker of a muddie, it could feed a family! I would love to have one for tea some day. Knowing what the Blue Manna Crabs taste like, I wonder how much better muddies will taste?
Muddies piss all over blues but both are beautiful when done right. Muddies are the best for chilli crab.........................god i miss them, not long now heading up north in december.

I can't eat 'em (allergy) so mum gets to decide how they're done. She prefers them in a seafood dipping sauce.

My family actually prefers the blues, they seem to have a lot less crap inside 'em. Personally I think muddies are way over rated.
