English pike

My little Luke landed in England just before lock down . (2 days prior) Restrictions getting lifted . He finally got out for a fish . And landed his first pike ( not huge) but he got one . Funny thing is at airport they made him strip all braid of his reels ( dumb ass in hand luggage) could be used as a weapon . Just put on there for trip . I spoke to him other night on phone . The rules over there are over the top . Different parts of rivers belong to certain clubs/people ect out of bounds . Tiny sections only for public . Quote thought our fisheries where d@$ks. Try meet these . I laughed . Anyways I hope he gets his big one .

Would never thought about braid being a weapon . Spose you could strangle someone with it

Silly move on
His behalf . His wish was to get one above 20 pound . (Pike) Long way to go yet . Not bad for first outing .when he decides to come back . Going to N/Zealand with him . Trout fishing . I still love freshwater fishing . Over here now is crap . I wouldn’t mind going back to blue mountains again . Trout there are amazing .

Shoe lace /cord out off hoody/ tracksuit pants .or well lesson learnt . He will know better next time . Must admit blew me away
