The fish in the photo are GT's, or as the locals call them turum.
Caught at the end of the ship loader at cape flattery Nth of cooktown. All around 900mm long, classed as a pest and use the flesh as bait to catch parrot, emporer and big trout.

And KC went all that way to catch NONE .

Caught one off the beach at Coral Bay (off the beach!!) and they do put up a great fight! Huge pylon they're hangin around if they're 900mm in size. Should have dropped something on em.
