yeah off the Mandurah bridge about 10,000 times.

Used to do it as a kid, and as a teenager with my old man. Still go down there a couple times a year for some prawns, might be some running that way now too.

me, i stand on the bow of my boat, with a couple prawning lights and 2 of us dabbing. the dab net is about 12-14ft long with a scoop on the end and a net or stocking.

They swim through ontop of the water and you scoop em up.

How to catch prawns- Alternate method

Sun, 2010-06-06 08:12

You can aslo dive for them on scuba in the Swan with a powerful underwater torch and an inverted prawn net with a tennis ball within. Simply spot the prawn on the floor of the ocen and place the net over him. He shall then oblige and swim up, you simply choke the net off and continue of your foraging way.

Regards

Willy
