I remember there was a skip
I remember there was a skip working out of the Abrolhos Islands back in the early nineties that used to chase the sambo's on fly, actually looked a lot like the fella on the right of the picture.
From what I remember when they changed the bait in the pots, the sambo's would swarm under the boat and he'd nail em on his SWF rod.
Even recall him steering the boat with his feet while he chased em down!

Rex Hunt
I watched a Rex Hunt episode in the nineties- The crayboat skipper (pictured) took Steve Starling over to the islands chasing Sambos on fly. The skipper was casting his flyrod out the window of the wheelhouse- he really new what he was doing. I think Steve Starling snapped a fly rod on the episode as well.

I know of someone who targets
I know of someone who targets them regularly (Noddy). I think he was using the ol cam sigler 16/17 :p. If you've met up with some flyfishers, you'll know the rod. Few of them kicking around :p.
