First Baldy on the new tub!
Hi there! Well after the alarm sounded at 0530, and after 45mins of ginning around, we finally got our shit together and were on the water at 0645. We headed out to check out some ground 7 mile out from Hillarys, but didnt find much at all. Moved over closer to Rotto and picked a nice feed of whiting, working the contour lines. We then headed out to the 40m mark and noticed on my sounder a sudden change in hardness ..and after trying to set a good drift..we finally drifted over our new spot..and had plenty of bites.
Claire being the tin arse she is, only had her bait down for a minute..and then her rod was was bent over, with a decent size fish.
After a quick fight, and a few good headshakes, she landed herself a nice 44cm baldy. She was stoked, and i will not hear the end of her catch for some time!
We then headed in just after lunch to Centaur reef, for a poke around. Some very good drop offs there, but was very wrassy. Claire did pick up a nice 39cm skippy. Headed in closer to try for some squid, but it was very quiet. Back To the ramp by 1400, and was pretty happy with the way our day had gone...that was until i tryed to start my car at the boat ramp..only to discover wade the dick had left his lights on all day...Thanks to the guy at the ramp that gave me a tow start, you're a champ!

Nice feed
there Wade - but remember the old saying - Give a man a fish and he will feed himself - give a woman a fishing rod and she will rub your nose in it. My ex missus couldn't catch a cold when i took her to Greenhead years ago - rigged her up and she landed a very nice cray while i caught Wrasse after Wrasse.
