nah all good mate, this squid put a nice arc in the rod as you can imagine. been real fussy about the carbon rods, not lending them to mates for a start and i've rigged up a few rod tubes on the 4x4 with foam inserts etc and definately not jerking them when they're snagged! been having some crazy runs out the back of rotto on the rocks whilst drifting a mulie out in the blue holes, might have to invest in a saltiga after all to stop the bloody things!!
