Came in at 79cm, taken on a 1-3kg nibble-tip whiting rod and 6lb braid with a tiny piece of herring fillet. Size 2 circle pinned him nicely in the corner of the jaw

yeah they only really take
yeah they only really take lots of line when your in a boat probably becuase they are scared of so they take massive runs and dive as deep as they can. caught one in 20 meters of water and took 10 minutes just to get from the bottom just a deep slog and wasn't even that big.
