Not till November next year mate. You can get them year round past the Busso Jetty though. I rekon they taste kinda lioke scallops but not as rich. People always seem to have the impression that they are tough but if they are caught and cooked straight away they are tender as.
I think I like them more for the adventure of getting out there and prying them off the rocks early and washing them down with a cold beer by lunch.
