Never mind mate
i remember bogging my brothers FJ45 at Tim's Thicket with an incoming tide - only way out was to drive into the surf to about a meter deep in a big loop - he still gives me the odd serve 25 years later.

I can relate to that
I fish alone in some secluded places. I have put mind down similar on several occasions. Dig, dig, dig....... It's bloody hard yakka for an old bloke like me LOL. Specially when the dog insists on licking the sweat of my face all the time.....

Its a Ford Escape isnt it???
Its a Ford Escape isnt it??? So much for Escape....lol
From what I can see....he drove the shopping trolley in without checking tyre pressure, sand condition, etc etc
Dont worry I did the same thing without thinking about it but I didnt get as far as that. I simply dropped the tyre pressure and drove out. Are your tyres HT or AT?? Ive got HT on mine and its not really suitable for beach work unless you drop the tyre pressure down a fair bit.

Tried to go round 4 other Hilux's already bogged, and i didnt quite make it up the hill....
Lucky a tractor was heading up the beach to help the whales so a tow out wasnt far away
