Geo Bay KGs

Caught these the other day in 3m of water only 500m from the beach. Not the biggst KGs but still a great feed.
The KGs are everywhere at the moment. Any of the sand holes close to shore are holding them.
All caught using fresh squid.

I might have to tow the boat down next week if they're still around Brendan. I'll flick you a PM if I do.

Yer mate, I tried a few
Yer mate, I tried a few different holes over the past month and caught KGs in all of them. Some holes had more than others but they seem to everywhere.
Dave from Outdoor Sports was with me when I caught these.
A mate of mine got some larger ones in 12m. They where all over 40cm.

Haven't been out wide of late, to busy with the new house and work.
Just got some new jigging gear so I will be given that a bash the next couple of weeks when we get some good weather.
From what I heard its been a bit quite of late but it should start firing up in the next month or so. Still heaps of tuna at Nato reef which is suprising for this time of the year. It would be good if they hung around all year.

Great feed there Brendan. Do
Great feed there Brendan. Do you find they're usually a seasonal thing in those areas?
Am planning a blackwood bream trip sometime, might have to allow an extra day to stop over in busso or quindalup, hehe.
As for tuna, seems they're still being caught in Perth, so has been a very good year for them it seems, which is great :D.

Definitely a seasonal thing.
Definitely a seasonal thing. They seem to be in close and in good numbers during winter. But in summer I haven't caught heaps at one spot(yet). There is a lot more sand whiting in close during summer but don't get to many sandies now unless you go deeper. Strange that the sand whiting and KGs are at different places at different times of the year.

That is quite a collection of KGs there.
Good of you to leave an example of your rig in the pic too.
