hehe yeah overkill but still a good fight, the big trout will bury you if you use anything lighter.. Using an Xzoga rod.
What model and how do you find it so far?
Ummm. Taka-Si 6013 6' PE3. I bought it for taikabura jigging but I can also use it to throw soft plastics. I haven't had the chance to use it much but so far I'm really happy. It's light, has a nice action and looks pretty good.
