GT on the old ABU 7000

Hit the reef the other day and took out my old 7000 that used to be my favourite reel about 30 years ago. Even caught my best spaniard on it at 50lb, but it's been sitting dormant for the last 20 years at least.
Anyway, didn't even change the old 20lb line, tied on a pillie and ended up with this nice GT. Even though the old 7000 has an average drag, no instant anti reverse, and no ball bearings it got the job done and I really enjoyed using it again.

Can swap out for carbon,did mine cut out from a sheet of carbon.Old shit was built to last.
