Metro Hapuka. .6 of a knot tide made perfect conditions for exploring out further and we got rewarded with this whopper!

At first the weather front
which was forecasted to pass much later seemed to push through while we were over 25mile out. We headed straight for home, managing 12knots at best which was gonna make it a slow old bash home. Luckily it was just an isolated shower/front and smoothed over soon after. Anyways we took no chances and continued home.
Get out there Harro! Maybe put the 295 on hold and consider a 585. We were sounding clearly in 600 meters.

Congrats on a solid deepwater fish. The only problem with catching them is that you want to chase them everytime you go on the water.

Picked him up on the first drop to confirm there was good fish there then let the jigs fly. Which got nailed by some greyband.
