I was out on my own & walking back down the side from setting the anchor when I saw a big black shape come up the side. But then yeah this guy was a character, couldn't resist giving him a couple of Mullies & a pat. Was pretty wary of those teeth though. Only had my phone to take the pic with though, but came out pretty good.
Saw the same dolly last week over on the weed beds. Has the full white barnacle growth on his nose. Rears up and outta the drink when you clap yer hands. Amazing creatures but not much on the chew while they are about performing for handouts...
Nah no action with the dolphin there south city, just pulled up a few old rigs with the anchor when I left. Shorty I was told by a bloke I went diving with tonight, from the Rockingham sailing club they call it "Touch" cause it lets you pat it.
We have had the dolphins around in Cockburn when we have been squidding. The kids loved it.
One came right up to the bow of the boat where our 7yr old was sitting. I was not as quick with the camera. Magic time. Those are the days we just watch the wildlife.
