Tuna interviewed
150m surface launch - straight onto the deck -
When interviewed later, the Tuna said 'Wow, I don't know what happened, one minute I was swimming through the water, minding my own business, then WAMMO!, I'm flying through the air at breakneck speed. Zooming towards this manic wand waving mad man and smashed into the boat. I'll never be the same.'

is when u lift your rod past about 50-60 degres or like in the photo past 90 degres usally resulting in broken rods

high sticking
Its poor technique that often ends up in either busted rods or lost fish. He has his rod tip up past 2 o'clock in fact its more like 11 o'clock

High Sticking!
High Sticking is what excited or inexperienced anglers do when fighting fish and then SNAP. They then go down to where they bought the rod from and want warranty. Their reasons are......"the rod wasnt strong enought"....."they didnt do anything wrong it just snapped" and the final versions is "it was only a 2kg fish"......anglers break rods....rod dont break themselves
Classic H/S pic Andy... ha ha

Almost...
not a high stick! Except that's a port/starbord/stern/bow fish and that's a starboard/port/bow/stern rod placement. Oops, not enough beers if I can type that! Be back soon.
Andy - loved seeing that again - a CLASSIC photo mate!!! LMAO again!
At least the rod holding technique has been established
Only thing left is an inverted rod technique. !
