Hillarys Herring

Took my son and a couple of his mates up around Hillarys for a bit of a fish. Looking for new snapper spots, but no big runs. We did get into the herring again, one after another and we easily could have doubled the amount, there were hundreds around. I didn't need any so they were divided amoungst sons mates who don't get fish very often. I still had to clean them though.

Did you get them on the south wall mate? I was there Sunday for a couple of hours and only got 5 but they were nice herring all between 26-27cm didn't see too many others getting them while I was there.

Big Herrings!
Great sizes mate. Very plump. Can't go pass the Herring for a feed. Easy to prepare and go well with a coldie!
