What sort of wood did you use? And did you cut them in half to run the wire through?

i just used a broom handle

Sat, 2010-03-06 08:11

i just used a broom handle from bunnings. clamped it and drilled hole through from each end. there were a few stuff ups but most times it worked. i used fenceng wire and twisted it into shape then slid it in and filled with aryldite. only real concerns would be wire pulling straight or breaking as i know fencing wire can fatigue but i know people who use it for ballooning and have no problems so will see. bottom one is made with wire trace running through it.

Yes i like them. I might try running some wire trace down the middle of them... just to make sure you dont loose a fish to wire pulling out. Nice paint work and designs mate !
