Dont worry about us, how did you go? I got out just northwest of garden island about 5:30/6:00 and there was the big blue charter boat and about another dozen boats in a small area (chaos) so I just drifted around and ended up with a small shark I think it was a spinner shark. Dropped the cray pots and ended picking up three crays the next morning to open the season cant complain. Nice pic by the way wish there were more days like that.

I was in the same area just a bit further south, Jazz pulled up right next to us early on but he moved on after a bit of sounding. Yeah poor Al in the blue boat operating "Shikari Charters" gets a fair bit of attention out there but hes happy to share and shout out advice to the other boats

Upon a painted ocean a...
Very good photo, I can't think of how the quote about boats on a painted ocean goes any more than the opening line.
We are very lucky to have such a great pool of water so close to Perth that hold some great fishing and we should do all that is necessary to protect it for our kids and grand kids.
