Steve, as they were reversing the were winding the boat back on.... they had about 6 people holding onto the front to lift the back end up to get it on easier...

Thay winch the boat
Till the front of the boat was on the tail of the trailer, And 6 guys pull down on the bow rails Which lifted the back off the boat off the ground motor and all
And then back the trailer back in the water, And put the boat back on the trailer THE RIGHT WAY THIS TIME

Everyone makes mistakes, I assume this would have been embarrassing enough without bystanders taking photos and rubbing salt into the wound.
Not having a go, but I certainly hope he isn't a fishwrecked member and finds this thread. I'm sure everyone else would be saying the same thing if it were to happen to them.
