Inshore small tuna

Inshore small tuna

Usual inshore summer variety, minus the pinks. But I'm not sure what the little tuna is. Seems a cross beween a mackerel tuna and a bonito. Cooked some up but the meat a little greyish and oily, so not to my taste. Will use the rest for bait. Grateful for any thoughts on ID, as I'm getting them occasionaly near Stragglers the last few weeks when trolling past the rocks for tailor.

Looked it up and that is definitely it. Says Ok for sashimi, so might give that a go next time. Seem to be a few around between Freo and Rotto.
